This position involves leading and mentoring a team of software developers. Interacts with many diverse skill sets from business, technical, testing and project management; both internal and client teams. This role involves participation in user's functional requirement studies, collaboration with other teams to create quicker issue resolution to achieve high customer satisfaction, architect and design application, and ensuring quality of work through design and code review process. Assists with client implementations. Identifies changes, corrections and enhancements to production application or customized programs. May require to manage small set of technical resources. 

Required Experience: 

Experience working with Java, previous management role

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a directly related field.

Java Software Engineering experience for 8+ Years 

Strong Object Oriented Programming (Java) Experience 

Experience with JEE Stacks (eg. Weblogic, Websphere, JBoss, etc)    

Experience with Database Modeling, Deployment and Tuning 

Ability to design XML Schemas and Websevice WSDL 

Experience with SOA and Integrations 

Experience developing enterprise level systems with significant level of complexity.


Preferred Experience: 

Experience with Banking/Financial Services

Disciplined programming using TDD (Test First Development) 

Experience with maintaining 24x7 Deployments 

Experiene with IBM Websphere

Performance Tuning of n-tier Web Applications

Good experience with Web frameworks eg. AngularJS

Experience with test Frameworks (eg. Selenium, Watij, HP-QTP)
