Embrace your unique skill set and see what's in store for you on our Business Solutions team. As an Outside Sales Executive, you will have the opportunity to generate new business members by developing your own business leads and working off an existing lead list. Your main focus will be to educate and recommend specific products, services, technologies, and solutions while meeting the telecommunication and data needs of members in an assigned territory. A personal vehicle is required and mileage reimbursement is provided for this position.
Outside Sales Executives are also responsible for the following:
  • Achievement of monthly business sales quota earned by the addition of new HTC members.
  • Calls on each business account inside an assigned territory a minimum of once every six months.
  • Developing and presenting proposals to prospective members.
  • Calls on a defined number of qualified prospects and cold calls each week.
  • Continuing to upgrade knowledge of member's business/needs and transferring that knowledge to appropriate HTC personnel.
  • Maintaining proper documentation of activities through various contact management software.
  • Providing sales forecasts information and maintaining member database for sales reporting purposes.
For this role, you also must have:
An Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Two years of outside sales experience or equivalent; Candidate must have experience selling technical product or service
Understanding of latest technology
Advanced sales and negotiating skills with strong verbal and written communication
