Job description

St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Endicott, New York (https://standrewsendicott.org) invites applications for a full-time rector to help lead a faithful and rooted parish into its next season of ministry. Located in a residential neighborhood in West Endicott, St. Andrew's serves both its local community and the wider region. Our worship is grounded in the historic Reformed Anglican tradition and follows the liturgical life of the church. St. Andrew's is supported by a full-time organist and a strong music program that includes local soloists, ensembles, and occasional guest musicians. We use the ACNA-recommended Sing Unto the Lord as our hymnal.
The rector will lead worship on Sundays and principal feasts, preside at the Liturgy and other services, chair the Vestry, and oversee Christian education for adults and youth. We are seeking a rector committed to orthodox Anglican faith, biblical expository preaching and teaching, disciple-making, and pastoral care. St. Andrew's offers meaningful opportunities for ministry through Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, our children's Christian education program; Tuesday's Table, our monthly community feeding ministry; and our support of the Cranmer Fellowship, a program of our sister parish, Church of the Good Shepherd in Binghamton, New York, for young men discerning a call to the priesthood. The parish also sees opportunities for renewed pastoral and outreach ministry among widowed parishioners and neighbors, lapsed Christians, and single parents. Average Sunday attendance is approximately 30, with about 24 active households.
The parish offers a welcoming and well-equipped setting for worship, fellowship, and outreach. Our nave seats 100, and the church building and rectory sit on a half-acre campus and is owned outright by the parish. The church includes a full undercroft, light commercial kitchen, classrooms, and office space. As a neighborhood parish it would be most desirable for our rector to reside in the neighborhood, whether in the Rectory or another nearby residence.
The surrounding neighborhood was established by the Endicott Johnson Shoe Company in the 1920s bordering the Village of Endicott, and includes restaurants, convenience stores, pharmacies, other businesses, village parks, a carousel, and elementary and middle schools within a 20-minute walk.
St. Andrew's is a member congregation of the Anglican Diocese of the Living Word (https://www.adlw.org), part of the Anglican Church in North America. This is an opportunity to serve a parish with deep Anglican commitments, active community outreach, and room for continued growth in worship, formation, and mission.
