Job description

Jefferson Radiology is seeking a Chair of Breast Imaging to join their growing team in Hartford, CT. This full-time, on-site position offers an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader, supported by a team of subspecialty radiologists. Practice Info

  • 90+ physician sub-specialty group practice with 400+ non-physician staff members
  • Covers multiple imaging centers, community hospitals, and tertiary-academic centers
  • Unified, enterprise PACS with home workstations for all physicians
  • State-of-the-art cloud-based system with AI tools and workflow enhancement solutions
  • Supports a 20-person residency program

Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of Breast Radiology
  • Read non-subspecialty diagnostic imaging
  • Provide leadership, program development, and research
  • Collaborate closely with breast medical and surgical specialists at Hartford Hospital
  • Engage in teaching opportunities with radiology residents from Hartford Hospital, the University of Connecticut, and St. Vincent's Hospital

Compensation

  • Base salary of $625,000 for on-site with productivity incentives upwards to $1,000,000 annually
  • Commencement and/or Retention bonuses up to $100,000 collectively
  • Annual discretionary bonus
  • Significant compensation increase recently implemented, including the introduction of Time-Based Work Units (TBWU)

Requirements

  • Fellowship trained in breast imaging (ideal)
  • Licensed or ability to obtain medical license in the State of Connecticut and Massachusetts
  • MD or DO
  • Completed a one-year post-residency fellowship training in Breast Radiology
  • Leadership or program development experience (a plus)
  • BE/BC by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology or Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology
  • MQSA required
