Position: Tree Climber
 
About the Role:
Are you a reliable and hard-working professional with a passion for outdoor work? If so, we invite you to join our team as a Tree Climber! In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering top-notch arboriculture services, all while embodying our core values. Our commitment to safety, professionalism, and open-minded collaboration sets us apart in the industry.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely climb, prune, and remove trees on residential and commercial properties.
  • Maintain and operate all equipment, including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and climbing gear.
  • Work seamlessly as part of a crew under the guidance of our Crew Foreman.
  • Prioritize and deliver excellent customer service, reflecting our values of respect and professionalism.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated climbing experience using rope and saddle for pruning, with proficiency in knots, chainsaw operation, and chipper operation.
  • Familiarity with Aerial Lifts (bucket truck and/or spider lifts) and adherence to ANSI standards which includes using proper PPE (we take this seriously).
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
  • Experience with driving non-CDL trucks with trailers.
  • Knowledge of crew management, training, customer service, and safety procedures is highly valued.
  • Excellent listening and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and ability to follow instructions.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
