Job Description The Role: Executive Assistant to Founder Location: San Francisco, CA - Hybrid Industry: Publicly Traded Software Technology Company Compensation: $200,000-$250,000 base salary DOE + exceptional benefits An innovative and fast-growing publicly traded software company is seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to support its Founder. This is a highly visible role that sits at the center of a dynamic organization, partnering closely with an influential executive who leads a complex and fast-paced business. The ideal candidate is a polished, strategic thinker who thrives in high-growth environments, anticipates needs before they arise, and enjoys navigating competing priorities with confidence and discretion.

About the Role This is far more than a traditional administrative position. The Executive Assistant will serve as a trusted partner to the Founder, helping manage a demanding schedule, streamline communication, and ensure priorities are executed seamlessly across the organization. The successful candidate will have extensive experience supporting C-suite executives, CEOs, or founders within large, complex organizations and will be comfortable operating independently while juggling numerous moving pieces.

This role requires exceptional judgment, resourcefulness, and the ability to remain calm and effective in an ever-evolving environment. Key Responsibilities Manage a complex and constantly evolving executive calendar, balancing internal priorities, external engagements, and strategic initiatives Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, detailed itineraries, and logistics Serve as a central point of coordination across executive leadership, board members, key stakeholders, and cross-functional teams Anticipate challenges, identify solutions proactively, and ensure critical priorities remain on track Facilitate meeting preparation, agendas, materials, and follow-up action items Manage confidential information with the highest degree of professionalism and discretion Support special projects and strategic initiatives on behalf of the Founder and executive team Partner closely with leaders across the organization to drive communication and alignment Monitor shifting priorities and help create structure and efficiency in a fast-moving environment Handle expense reporting, administrative operations, and other executive support functions as needed Ideal Candidate 10+ years of executive assistant experience, including significant support of CEOs, Founders, or senior C-suite executives Experience supporting leaders within large, matrixed, or rapidly scaling organizations Highly proactive with a natural tendency to anticipate needs and take initiative without requiring direction Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Strong business judgment and problem-solving abilities Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Adept at building relationships across all levels of an organization Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with professionalism Tech-savvy and comfortable working with modern productivity and collaboration tools Calm under pressure, adaptable, and energized by fast-paced environments Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
