Account Executive (Field Sales) – Fiber Internet

Company: OhioGig

Location: Assigned Gig Territory (Chagrin Valley, Little Miami, Marion Union, Logan County, Belmont County, 614)

Type: Full-time | Base + Commission

About the Role

OhioGig is hiring Account Executives to drive new customer growth for our fiber internet services. This is a field sales role focused on door-to-door canvassing, customer conversations, and closing new activations in your assigned territory. You’ll own the sales process end-to-end and work closely with leadership to build a repeatable, high-performance routine.

What You’ll Do
  • Canvass assigned neighborhoods/buildings and generate new customer opportunities
  • Run customer conversations at the door and via phone/text/email followup
  • Educate customers on fiber benefits, confirm eligibility, and close new orders
  • Support MDU and SMB selling as assigned (property relationships, decisionmaker outreach)
  • Maintain clean followup and documentation for customer contacts only in HubSpot
  • Coordinate a clean handoff for installation/activation to reduce fallout
  • Summer Schedule (Required)
  • During the summer period (typically Memorial DayLabor Day):
  • Saturdays required: 11:00 AM 7:00 PM
  • One weekday will be removed to maintain a 5day workweek (Supervisorapproved)
  • Chargeback: If customer disconnects within 90 days, commission is charged back on the next regular cycle (may be waived for documented install/serviceability issues outside AE control)

  • Able to work outdoors and walk/stand for extended periods
