Job description

THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION, M–F 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, IN PALM BEACH GARDENS. IF YOU CANNOT BE IN THE OFFICE IN PBG, THOSE HOURS DO NOT APPLY. NO REMOTE, NO HYBRID.

Meta Power Solutions is a leading manufacturer and supplier of Medium Voltage Transformers, Low Voltage Switchboards, Medium Voltage Switchgear, and Mobile & Containerized Substations. Our innovative solutions serve utilities, renewable energy, EV charging, and industrial markets.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to lead sales for our refurbished transformer line, covering both dry-type and oil-filled distribution transformers. This is a senior, quota-carrying role for someone who already knows the electrical distribution and transformer market and can hit the ground running with existing industry relationships. You'll be responsible for growing our refurbished transformer book of business with utilities, EPCs, industrial accounts, and electrical distributors, while helping shape the go-to-market strategy for this product line.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive new business development for the refurbished transformer line (dry type & oil-filled distribution transformers) across utility, industrial, EPC, and distributor accounts
  • Own and grow relationships with existing key accounts while actively prospecting new ones
  • Outbound calls daily from provided and self-sourced leads (target: 60 calls/day)
  • Conduct market research on transformer refurbishment trends, competitor offerings, and customer procurement cycles
  • Present and demonstrate refurbished transformer solutions, including specs, testing/certification standards, and value proposition vs. new units
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, technical proposals, and pricing quotes. Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed aggressive sales targets
  • Partner with engineering/operations on lead times, refurbishment scope, and technical feasibility for customer requirements
  • Collaborate with marketing on lead generation strategy specific to the refurbished/secondary transformer market
  • Provide senior-level guidance and mentorship to junior sales team members as the refurbished line scales
  • Represent Meta Power Solutions at industry trade shows and events
  • Stay current on transformer industry developments, materials pricing, and competitor activity

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of proven sales experience in electrical distribution, transformers, or power equipment — refurbished/secondary market experience strongly preferred
  • Solid working knowledge of dry type and oil-filled distribution transformer specs, applications, and standards
  • Established relationships with utilities, EPCs, industrial accounts, or electrical distributors a strong plus
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, pricing, and customer requirements in the transformer space
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently while mentoring junior team members
