Executive Running Concierge Jobs (NOW HIRING)

• We are hiring immediately for a full time EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT CONCIERGE position.
• Location: University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital - 1000 South Limestone, Lexington, KY 40536. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule; three 12 hour shifts and one 6 hour shift a week. Days and hours may vary; rotating weekends included. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: 1 to 2 years of previous food service and patient dining experience required.

• Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Meal Service Management: Coordinate the timely delivery and collection of Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner trays from the main kitchen to ED patients.
  • Meal Preference & Education: Proactively round on all eligible patients to obtain dietary preferences, restrictions, and allergies. Educate patients on how to use the "MyMeal" digital ordering application and assist with placing orders.
  • Experience Rounding: Conduct frequent and intentional patient rounding to check on comfort, meal satisfaction, and immediate non-clinical needs, documenting feedback and escalating concerns immediately to the charge nurse
  • Service Recovery: Act quickly and empathetically to resolve patient food-related issues, ensuring service lapses are addressed promptly.
  • Stock Management: Maintain a high level of unit readiness by conducting regular inventory and ensuring all designated floor stock (beverages, snacks) and ready-to-eat meals are fully stocked, rotated, and readily available for patient consumption.
  • Nursing & Team Support: Support nursing staff with non-clinical tasks that directly contribute to patient comfort and flow, such as clearing meal trays, running basic unit supplies, and preparing patients for transport (as directed by clinical staff).
• Pay Range: $18.50 per hour to $20.00 per hour.
