We are trailblazers, problem solvers, people who thrive in fast‑paced environments, communicate clearly, and bring relentless focus to efficiency and execution.

About The Role

We are seeking a Director of Investor Relations to help shape and scale our investor relations function during a period of significant growth and market visibility. This is a strategic, high‑impact role responsible for driving how the company is understood by investors, analysts, and the broader financial community.

As a key partner to executive leadership and finance, you will lead the development of investor messaging and materials, drive engagement with the analyst and investor community, and own the strategy, infrastructure, and operating cadence behind a best‑in‑class IR function. You will play a meaningful role in shaping the company’s narrative, influencing how performance and strategy are communicated externally, and ensuring leadership is well‑positioned for every investor interaction.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the development and continuous evolution of investor messaging, including investor presentations, earnings materials, executive communications, board‑level content, and other strategic stakeholder deliverables
  • Drive the annual investor engagement strategy and marketing calendar, including earnings cycles, investor meetings, conferences, roadshows, and non‑deal roadshows
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing insight, recommendations, and preparation support for investor and analyst engagements
  • Own the IR operating model, including systems, CRM strategy, investor data, communications tracking, and reporting workflows; identify and implement improvements as the function scales
  • Partner with finance, legal, and executive leadership to shape and validate external communications, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with strategic priorities
  • Lead market intelligence efforts by monitoring analyst coverage, investor sentiment, peer activity, and industry trends, and translating insights into actionable guidance for leadership
  • Build and steward relationships with sell‑side analysts and investors, with increasing ownership of select coverage and direct engagement over time
  • Help ensure analyst models, narratives, and understanding of the company remain accurate and aligned with public messaging
  • Drive the continued build‑out of a disciplined, scalable, and strategically aligned investor relations function as the company grows
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Communications, or a related field; MBA or CFA a plus
  • 10+ years of relevant experience across investment banking, sell‑side research, public company investor relations, corporate finance, treasury, or related fields
  • Experience in digital infrastructure, power, data centers, AI, or other capital‑intensive and high‑growth industries preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the development of high‑impact investor materials, executive communications, and board‑ready content
  • Strong command of financial statements, public company dynamics, capital markets, and investor expectations
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities, including operating models, valuation work, peer benchmarking, and industry analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to shape complex information into clear, compelling, and strategically aligned messaging
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to operate as a credible partner to senior leadership, analysts, investors, and board members
  • Proven ability to lead initiatives end‑to‑end, manage multiple priorities, and operate with judgment, discretion, and professionalism
  • A strategic, ownership‑oriented mindset with the ability to both set direction and drive execution
Compensation And Benefits
  • Competitive Salary: $185,000 – $205,000 base (commensurate with experience) + bonus + sign‑on equity grant
  • Long‑Term Growth: Eligible to participate in Riot’s equity incentive programs and share in the success you help build
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan: Includes a generous company match
  • Comprehensive Health Coverage: Multiple medical plan options, including 100% company‑paid plans
