Job Description

As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will be part of the Continuous Improvement team, reporting to CI Manager, within the Finance Department. You will play a pivotal role in leading the business transformation mandate of CI, by optimizing multifaceted cross-functional processes, offering recommendations to Finance and other leadership that are instrumental in shaping and advancing the overall business strategy. 

What you're responsible for : 

  • Analyze current-state processes and implement targeted solutions to optimize key financial and business operations
  • Design future-state processes that are efficient, well-controlled and scalable to support business growth
  • Perform root-cause analysis to identify risks and drive resolution of complex problems through innovative solutions
  • Develop business cases and executive-level presentations to support improvement recommendations to leadership
  • Build cross-functional relationships, facilitate workshops and ensure alignment on all CI initiatives
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to support adoption of new processes and systems
  • Ensure people readiness through training, communication and post go-live support
  • Support CI Manager and Director across all project phases (analysis, design, testing, deployment, maintenance)
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the success and impact of improvement initiatives
Qualifications

To join our team  :

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Project Management or related field 
  • 3-5 years of professional experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and finance operations (month-end close, financial reporting, general ledger)
  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, Agile or equivalent (asset); consulting experience an asset
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Visio
  • Bilingualism French/English (asset)
