Job description

Overview

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for an Acquisition Support Specialist providing acquisition and program management advisory support to SD-85 Government program offices supporting next-generation transport initiatives.

Position will be located in Colorado Springs, CO.ย 

**This position is contingent upon funding**

Responsibilities
  • Support acquisition planning, contract actions, and program execution activities.
  • Assist with development of acquisition documentation, requirements packages, and milestone artifacts.
  • Support schedule tracking, risk management, and program reporting.
  • Coordinate with contracting officers, program managers, and technical teams.
  • Support development of briefings, staffing packages, and executive correspondence.
  • Track program deliverables, action items, and contract performance metrics.
  • Assist with budget planning and execution tracking.
Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizenย Clearance: A minimum of a TS with willingness to obtain SCI eligibility at time of applicaiton required.ย Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Acquisition Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Years of Experience: 5-10 years of DoD acquisition or program support experience

Additional Experience:

  • Familiarity with DoD 5000-series acquisition processes.
  • Experience supporting Government program offices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DAWIA certification or equivalent acquisition credentials.
  • Experience supporting SSC, Space Force, or Air Force acquisition organizations.
  • Experience with OTAs, rapid acquisition, or software acquisition pathways.
  • Familiarity with PPBE processes.
