Founded with a mission to provide holistic and accessible mental health services, Holistic Health Counseling, PLLC has established itself as a trusted resource for individuals seeking support for a variety of mental health conditions. Our clinic in Arlington, Virginia, prides itself on fostering an empathetic and healing environment, promoting resilience, and supporting individuals of all ages through mental health challenges. We utilize evidence-based therapies tailored to the unique needs of each client, ensuring a personalized approach to their care.

You will be part of a collaborative team of mental health professionals, engaging in regular virtual meetings to discuss client progress and treatment strategies. As a member of the hospice center, your work will focus on providing critical support to individuals navigating complex emotional landscapes, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care in a comforting and respectful virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, strengths, vulnerabilities, and available resources.
  • Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and solution-focused therapy.

  • Facilitate therapeutic interventions and crisis management by providing immediate support, risk assessments, and developing safety plans when necessary.
  • Maintain precise, timely documentation of client sessions and treatment plans to comply with legal and ethical standards.
  • Lead group therapy sessions and psychoeducation workshops aimed at equipping clients and their families with coping strategies and skills to manage grief and mental health challenges.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve supporting clients who are dealing with grief, loss, anxiety, and depression in the context of end-of-life care. You will also provide guidance to families coping with the impact of terminal illness, ensuring they feel supported both emotionally and psychologically. Your role is critical in helping these clients find meaning and comfort during one of life's most challenging phases.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required for this position.
  • An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience working in a mental health or outpatient setting is necessary.
  • Strong familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and methodologies is essential.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for effective client engagement and collaboration with the treatment team.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working within hospice or end-of-life care settings is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated abilities in crisis intervention and family therapy will be considered assets.
  • Additional certifications in trauma-informed care or grief counseling are beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits
