About This Role 

As the Capital Markets Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Sabey Data Centers' capital strategy by supporting debt and equity financing initiatives across both corporate and project portfolios. Working closely with senior finance leadership, banking partners, institutional investors, and cross-functional teams, you'll help ensure the organization maintains efficient, reliable access to capital to fuel continued growth. 

This is an ideal opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys combining sophisticated financial analysis with strategic relationship management. You'll build and maintain complex financial models, evaluate capital structure alternatives, participate in financing transactions, and provide executive leadership with actionable insights that influence key business decisions. 

Your Contribution Will Likely Include 

  • Support the planning and execution of debt and equity financings at both the corporate and asset/portfolio levels. 
  • Build, maintain, and enhance sophisticated financial models to evaluate financing alternatives, leverage, covenant impacts, returns, and capital structure scenarios. 
  • Assist with negotiating financing terms and documentation alongside internal stakeholders and external legal counsel. 
  • Coordinate financing transaction workstreams, ensuring timelines and deliverables remain on schedule. 
  • Serve as a day-to-day contact for relationship banks, lenders, and institutional investors. 
  • Develop presentation materials that effectively communicate Sabey's business strategy, financial performance, project pipeline, and capital needs. 
  • Track lender and investor feedback, summarizing key themes and recommendations for leadership. 
  • Research emerging financing trends and identify opportunities to optimize the company's capital structure. 
  • Own financing components within the multi-year corporate financial model, including debt schedules, interest expense, maturity profiles, covenant forecasting, and related analyses. 
  • Evaluate financing structures and clearly communicate financial trade-offs to executive management. 
  • Partner closely with FP&A, Accounting, Development, and Operations to ensure financing assumptions accurately reflect business realities, including development timelines, capital expenditures, leasing activity, and operating economics. 
  • Support ongoing debt portfolio management, covenant compliance, lender reporting, and information requests. 
  • Monitor capital markets, interest rate environments, comparable transactions, and industry activity to identify risks and opportunities. 
  • Help assess refinancing exposure, covenant capacity, and interest rate sensitivity while supporting potential risk mitigation strategies, including hedging. 

Experience You Will Bring 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. 
  • Five or more years of experience in capital markets, corporate finance, investment banking, private credit, or a comparable role within a capital-intensive organization. 
  • Demonstrated experience supporting financing transactions with banks and institutional investors. 
  • Experience within data centers, digital infrastructure, commercial real estate, energy, or similarly capital-intensive industries is strongly preferred. 
  • MBA, CFA, or other advanced financial credential is a plus. 
  • Advanced financial modeling expertise in Excel, including scenario, sensitivity, and valuation analysis. 
  • Strong understanding of debt financing structures, loan documentation, covenants, pricing, fees, and capital markets transactions. 
  • Working knowledge of equity structures, joint ventures, investment waterfalls, IRR, equity multiples, and related return metrics. 
  • Understanding of data center business drivers-including development, leasing, utilization, power infrastructure, and operating economics-or the ability to develop expertise quickly. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial concepts clearly to executive leadership and external stakeholders. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, financing transactions, and deadlines simultaneously. 
  • Execution-oriented mindset with exceptional attention to detail and a willingness to work hands-on in financial models, transaction documentation, and analytical work. 
  • Collaborative, low-ego approach and the ability to build strong relationships across finance, development, operations, and external partners. 
  • Aptitude and willingness to learn and utilize AI tools and technology.

Compensation 

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $128,283 - $192,425 plus bonus eligibility.
