Position Overview
This executive is the senior leader responsible for driving operational excellence across all manufacturing locations for a company specializing in innovative, high-reliability air-control products used in commercial HVAC systems. This executive ensures that production operations meet world-class standards in safety, quality, delivery, cost efficiency, and scalability while supporting the company's commitment to engineering innovation and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacturing Strategy - Develop and execute a multi-year manufacturing strategy aligned with corporate goals, product innovation roadmaps, and market growth plans.
  • Operational Leadership - Lead all plant operations, including production, assembly, fabrication, testing, and distribution to ensure consistent, high-quality output.
  • Lean Transformation - Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous-improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve throughput, and enhance product reliability.
  • Quality Systems - Oversee quality assurance and quality control programs to maintain compliance with industry standards (e.g., AMCA, UL) and ensure product performance meets or exceeds customer expectations.
  • Supply Chain Integration - Partner with Supply Chain leadership to optimize sourcing, inventory management, supplier performance, and logistics.
  • Technology & Automation - Drive adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies, including automation, robotics, and data-driven production systems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - As part of the Executive Leadership Team, works closely with Engineering, Sales, IT, and Finance to ensure manufacturability, cost targets, and delivery commitments.
  • Safety & Compliance - Ensure all facilities operate with a strong safety culture and comply with OSHA and environmental regulations.
  • Team Development - Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing manufacturing leadership team capable of supporting rapid growth and operational excellence.
  • Budget & Performance Management - Own manufacturing budgets, KPIs, and performance dashboards to ensure transparency and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field); MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, ideally in HVAC, air-movement equipment, or sheet metal manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-site operations and scaling production capacity.
  • Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and modern manufacturing systems.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC industry standards, airflow testing, and reliability requirements preferred.
