Your Role:Driving excellence through technicalexpertiseand innovation

TheEquipment Department Controllerserves as the senior finance leader for Webber's centralized Equipment Department, overseeing accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, internal controls, and operational finance activities. Partnering closely with Equipmentleadershipand Corporate Finance, this roleprovidesstrategic financial guidance across equipment rentals, fleet operations, maintenance, leasing, fueling, hauling, and internal billing functions. The Controller drives profitability, fleet optimization, capital investment decisions, equipmentutilizationanalytics, and process improvement initiatives while supporting the continued growth and modernization of the department. This highly visible position reports to the Corporate Controller and serves as a key business partner to both operational and executive leadership.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead all accounting and finance activities for the Equipment Department.

  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting processes.

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal control requirements.

  • Oversee internal billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fuel accounting, fixed assets, and lease accounting.

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial analysis activities.

  • Provide financial reporting, performance insights, and recommendations to department and executive leadership.

  • Develop P&L reporting and monthly close procedures that enable Operations to analyze cost deviations.

  • Analyze equipmentutilization, fleet economics, ownership costs, profitability, and return on capital investments.

  • Lead capital planning, equipment acquisition, replacement, leasing, and lifecycle management decisions.

  • Partner with Operations, Logistics, Fleet, Service, andAccountingteams to improve financial and operational performance.

  • Develop andmaintainfinancial models, dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting tools.

  • Support equipment pricing, tariff development, internal billing strategies, and cost management initiatives.

  • Maintain effective internal controls and lead audit remediation efforts as needed.

  • Identifyand implement process improvements involving billing, invoicing, reporting, fuel management, automation, and financial controls.

  • Lead finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, visibility, and decision-making.

  • Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.

  • Perform other duties asrequiredto support the Equipment Department and Webber operations.

  • Other unlisted duties will berequired.

Who You Are: A Profile of Success

  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, ora relatedfield.

  • 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience.

  • Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.

  • Experience leading finance and accounting teams.

  • Proven operational finance and business partnering experience.

  • Ability to collaborate with operational leaders and drive business performance.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in equipment rental, fleet management, heavy equipment, transportation, industrial services, heavy construction, or other asset-intensive industries.

  • Knowledge of capital planning, fixed assets, depreciation, and lease accounting.

  • Experience with fleetutilizationreporting, equipment economics, and pricing strategies.

  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).

  • Proficiencywith Power BI or other business intelligence and reporting tools.

  • Experience leading process improvement, automation, or finance transformation initiatives.
