Job description

Join our experienced team at Masco Corporation as an Analyst in our Procurement Center of Excellence! This role is developed for driven individuals who are eager to contribute to strategic procurement activities and make a meaningful impact on our organization. As part of the Procurement COE, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth delivery of procurement strategies across various domains, including Sourced Finished Goods, Direct Materials, Indirect Services, and Transportation.
The Procurement COE Analyst will support strategic procurement activities, including spend analysis, savings analysis, RFx development and execution, and data-driven opportunity identification. This role also supports information gathering, data consolidation, and reporting to enable more informed decision-making and improve procurement performance.
Responsibilities
  • Perform complex data analysis, including spend and savings analysis, to support sourcing decisions and supplier award recommendations.

  • Develop a detailed understanding of the data under analysis, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of required information.

  • Learn, effectively apply, and act as a steward of the Masco Strategic Sourcing Process.

  • Act as the Project Manager for assigned sourcing initiatives, supporting execution from launch to execution, including maintaining timelines, tracking progress, and ensuring deliverables.

  • Build and distribute RFx documents to external suppliers.

  • Participate in the ideation process, using data to unlock opportunities and build the Procurement funnel.

  • Navigate seamlessly throughout the organization during data gathering and analysis activities, encouraging relationships with partners across the business

  • Support members of the Procurement COE and Category Sourcing teams by analyzing data to help achieve common goals.

  • Apply established standard methodologies, tools, and templates to ensure consistency and efficiency of COE processes and deliverables.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a related technical field required.

  • 2+ years of experience in an analytical role. Experience in Procurement, Logistics/Transportation, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, or related fields preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills and expertise in technical applications (e.g., Excel, Power BI).

  • Comfortable manipulating large data sets and applying analytical skills to drive and influence business decisions.

  • Effective problem-solving and project management skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Basic business financial knowledge.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in crafting presentations and other high-quality deliverables.

  • Comfortable presenting to executive-level collaborators and other cross-functional leadership.

  • Ability to manage constructive and cooperative working relationships, often without introduction, and function effectively on a team.

  • Demonstrates self-confidence, integrity, and initiative in a challenging work environment.
