Registered Nurse - PAT Nurse - Days - FT
Find your calling at Mercy! Responsible for assessing patients referred by physicians to assure patients are appropriate. Assesses medical history, surgical and anesthesia history, medications and determines if any pretreatment or additional medical clearance is needed prior to procedure. Provides patient education as needed for procedure and medication management. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Position Details:

Full-Time: Monday - Friday

**Pre-admission Testing Nurse**

Overview:

Responsible for assessing patients referred by physicians to assure patients are appropriate. Assesses medical history, surgical and anesthesia history, medications and determines if any pretreatment or additional medical clearance is needed prior to procedure. Provides patient education as needed for procedure and medication management. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

  • Experience: Minimum of two years clinical experience preferred.
  • Licensure: Active RN and responsible to maintain licensure.
  • Preferred Experience: 2 years with Optime scheduling.
