Job description

We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia team. Our CRNAs provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a variety of surgical and procedural settings while working collaboratively with anesthesiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.  

Responsibilities 

  • Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans 
  • Administer and monitor anesthesia throughout surgical and procedural cases. 
  • Evaluate patient responses and modify anesthesia plans as needed to ensure optimal care and safety 
  • Provide post-anesthesia assessment and pain management 
  • Collaborate effectively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team 
  • Maintain compliance with Standards of Nurse Anesthesia Practice and applicable professional guidelines 
  • Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills 
  • Required in-house call with a rotating call schedule

Qualifications 

Required 

  • Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program 
  • Current Missouri Registered Nurse license 
  • Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) 
  • BLS/ACLS/PALS 

Preferred Skills 

  • Ultrasound-guided regional blocks 
  • Epidurals
