Location: Hilo, HI
Contract Length: 26 Weeks
Start Date: 03/30/2026
Schedule: Variable shifts (8, 10, 12 hrs – Days/Evenings/Nights/Weekends/Holidays)
Guaranteed Hours: No guarantee
Positions Available: 1
On-Call: 0–3 shifts/month (8-hr nights, 24-hr weekends/holidays)
EMR: EPIC
We are seeking an experienced PACU RN for a long-term travel assignment. The nurse will provide care to patients in Pre-Op, Phase I, and Phase II recovery, delivering high-quality post-anesthesia nursing care. This role requires strong critical care skills, clinical judgment, and the ability to manage post-surgical patients in a fast-paced recovery environment.
Experience:
PACU experience OR
Minimum 2+ years Critical Care RN experience (ICU/ER accepted as substitute)
License: Active Hawaii RN License (must be in-hand by start date)
Certifications Required:
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
Preferred/Recommended:
PALS
NIHSS, TNCC (preferred for specialty roles)
Flu Vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
Shifts: Variable (no shift or hours guarantee)
Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Required
Arrival Requirement: Must arrive Thursday before start date for employee health clearance
On-Call: Required (limited frequency)
