To sell Ippon and our projects, we are currently seeking an Account Executive who is focused on Ippon's Solutions offerings in Digital, Data, and Cloud/DevOps, in the Richmond, VA Market.

The Account Executive positions Ippon USA's services and Solutions to Fortune 1000 organizations. It is a sales role with a focus on finding new business and expanding existing accounts. You create demand, nurture, negotiate and close deals. You are a self-starter, a driven person. You own the Enterprise space and add new logos into this space. You are smart, social media savvy, digitally responsive, and have previous consultative sales experience.

The perfect candidate will have three things: a) business development experience selling projects (ideally cloud projects) to enterprise customers, b) enterprise level account management experience, and c) AWS partnership experience or the knowledge of how the AWS partnership network works.

Hunt business at Fortune 1000 companies:

  • The perfect candidate is someone who has experience selling technology Solutions to Fortune 1000 enterprises. They want to build strong relationships with enterprise decision makers to guide them through their Digital/Java, Data, or Cloud migration journey and help them implement Solutions throughout their enterprise. They also love helping their clients innovate through custom application development and end-to-end data delivery. They want to find all the Fortune 1000 enterprises that are implementing Java, Data, and AWS. They want to bring in an agile team of expert engineers to implement their technology Solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue and market share with Fortune 1000 companies 
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets 
  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around Ippon services
  • Accelerate customer adoption
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
  • Manage contract negotiations
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
  • Ensure customer satisfaction

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of technology related sales or business development experience
  • 2+ years of direct field experience selling software or cloud Solutions to the F1000
  • Experience in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals
  • Experience in positioning and selling technology in new customers and new market segments
  • Experience in proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer's business
  • Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A background in sales, engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus
  • Track record of developing sustainable new business
  • Extensive customer network
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
