JOB TITLE: F&B Purchasing Clerk License – None

JOB CODE: EEO – 05

DEPT. CODE: 062 NON - EXEMPT

SALARY: MB-6 # OF STAFF: 1

REPORTS TO: Director of F&B

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two years’ experience in a position involved with purchasing, shipping, receiving and inventory.

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: Able to work flexible schedule based on the needs of the

business, including weekends and holidays as required.

Located on the Mississippi River, on the site of the former Learned’s Mill that operated from 1828 until 1962, Magnolia Bluffs Casino now calls this historic land home. The casino originally opened in 2012 and is currently owned and operated by Saratoga Casino Holdings, LLC. With numerous slot machines and ample table games such as poker, blackjack, roulette and craps as well as delicious dining options, we offer a guest experience unparalleled to others. In addition to our boasting casino, we operate a beautiful hotel with the areas only saltwater pool!

We are now looking to expand our team as we continue to provide the city of Natchez with the best customer service and gaming experience possible! Our current opening is for a F & B Processing Clerk. This position will report directly to the Executive Chef, and will be responsible for:


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Processes purchase requisitions for the F&B Department.
  • Researches and provides lowest price options before ordering.
  • Obtains W-9’s and coordinates billing terms with Accounts Payable.
  • Maintains excellent written and verbal communication practices.
  • Ensures proper inventory levels to reduce shrinkage.
  • Receives all orders and verifies accurate items and quantities have been delivered.
  • Receives and verifies all invoices before sending to AP for payment.
  • Works with vendors on product issues to secure refunds.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Other:

  • Able to lift and carry 30lbs occasionally.
