Outcome Capital, a Boston-based life sciences dedicated investment banking and strategic advisory firm, is seeking an exceptional candidate to join the growing team as Analyst / Senior Analyst. The candidate will be a strategic thinker and collaborative team-oriented individual seeking to join a growing organization. Candidates will be intellectually curious, open-minded and passionate about driving scientific development through M&A, capital raise, partnership, and other corporate transactions.

Who you are
  • 1-3 yearsโ€™ professional post-graduate experience in business/corporate development, consulting, equity research, venture capital
  • Candidates lacking professional experience but desirous of entering financial services industry are encouraged to apply

Specific responsibilities
  • Work in teams of 3-5 bankers to develop all deliverables related to M&A and capital raise transactions, including management presentation, executive summary, financial model, data room management, and due diligence
  • Evaluate market dynamics and value proposition alignment included in marketing materials to support transaction strategy development
  • Communicate & present ideas directly to client management teams and related financial partners
  • Conduct independent work streams amongst context of broader team product to make sure deliverable deadlines are met
  • Lead fundamental analysis and investment research to support client deliverables
  • Assimilate new information rapidly from various therapeutic, medical device, diagnostic and healthcare market segments to help guide transaction decisions
  • Mentor & lead analysts and interns to support internal growth & development, including talent recruitment, identification, and training
Skills and experience
  • Recent (1-3 years) PhD degree in biological sciences
  • 1-3 yearsโ€™ industry experience in the biotechnology/ life sciences industry and/or related professional roles including business/corporate development, strategy, equity research, consulting
  • Familiarity and knowledge of emerging/prevailing trends and value-drivers in the life science sector
