Staff Pharmacist - Atlanta, GA
Are you a licensed pharmacist looking to expand your expertise into the exciting world of nuclear medicine? Whether you're an experienced nuclear pharmacist or new to the field, we welcome your interest. We offer comprehensive training to support your transition and growth.
You'll Do
As a Staff Pharmacist, you'll play a vital role in preparing and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals that support diagnostic imaging and patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing and dispensing radiopharmaceutical doses in accordance with prescriptions and regulatory standards.
  • Compounding radiopharmaceuticals, including generator elution and formulation.
  • Performing quality control checks and equipment calibrations to ensure accuracy and safety.
  • Conducting contamination surveys, sterility and pyrogenicity testing, and other quality assurance procedures.
  • Packaging and labeling shipments in compliance with transport regulations.
  • Supporting radiation safety protocols, including spill response and exposure investigations.
  • May serve as Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) when designated.

You Bring
  • Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active pharmacist license in the state of Georgia.
  • Interest or experience in nuclear pharmacy or radiopharmaceuticals (training provided).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
