Are you an experienced leader inrespiratory home healthordurable medical equipment (DME)operations? Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a results-drivenArea Manager to oversee multi-site operations, financial performance, and team development across a defined region.In this high-impact role, you'll be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing profitability, and leading a team of Location Managers and clinical staff. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations across multiple locations, ensuring alignment with company standards and healthcare regulations (JCAHO, DOT, OSHA, etc.)
  • Lead and develop Location Managers, driving accountability, performance, and patient-centered service
  • Manage area-levelP&L, budgets, staffing, inventory, and equipment utilization
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including medical billing and reimbursement guidelines
  • Collaborate with sales and clinical teams to meet service goals and improve patient outcomes
  • Implement company initiatives, tools, and protocols to enhance operational efficiency
  • Monitor KPIs, A/R performance, and project deadlines across the region
  • Serve as a key liaison between field operations and executive leadership
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Travel

  • Travel up to 70% of the time
  • Must reside within 75 miles of one of the locations supported and maintain an office within the Area as agreed upon with Division level management for non-travel days

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience

  • Three years related experience, required

Preferred Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, preferred
  • Proven experience inhome healthcare,respiratory services, orDME operations
  • Strong background inmulti-site management,P&L ownership, andteam leadership
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance, reimbursement, and regulatory standards
