Position: Executive Operations Coordinator (Task Manager)
Location: McLean, VA (Onsite) Clearance: Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Required Schedule: Monday–Friday | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Compensation range: $125K-$160K, based on experience & qualifications Overview
Kforce is seeking an experienced Task Manager / Executive Operations Coordinator to support a high-visibility government organization in McLean, VA. This individual will serve as a key liaison between executive leadership, internal stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring the timely coordination, tracking, and completion of organizational priorities. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at managing competing priorities, and possesses strong organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities
Provide direct administrative and operational support to senior leadership teams within a complex government environment
Track, manage, and route incoming assignments, action items, and coordination requests through multiple enterprise systems
Monitor task status, ensure timely responses, and maintain visibility of critical deadlines
Collaborate with internal offices, interagency partners, and external organizations to facilitate information flow and action resolution
Develop reference materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), user guides, and process documentation
Support executive briefing and reporting processes through the preparation, organization, and quality review of materials
Maintain shared repositories, electronic records, task-tracking tools, and correspondence management systems
Coordinate front office activities, conduct follow-ups on pending actions, and provide leadership with status updates
Ensure documents and briefing materials meet established formatting, content, and compliance standards Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience (9+ years in lieu of degree)
Experience supporting senior government or executive-level organizations
Proven ability to manage tasking and correspondence through multiple tracking systems
Experience coordinating actions across diverse stakeholder groups and organizational boundaries
Strong written communication, editing, and document management skills
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines simultaneously Preferred Qualifications
Experience creating training materials, process guides, SOPs, or operational playbooks
Familiarity with executive correspondence, staffing packages, briefing preparation, or front office operations
Experience supporting mission-focused government organizations within the national security or intelligence community
