Job Summary and Qualifications
A registered professional nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. In addition, the registered professional. nurse prescribes, delegates, coordinates, supervises and evaluates patient teaching and the activities of the ancillary nursing personnel while maintaining the standards of professional nursing.
What qualifications you will need:

  • Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Experience in coordinating between surgeons, reps and vendors within the OR
  • OR experience in Ortho or Neuro preferred.
This is a M-F 6:45-3:15 schedule with call requirements
