● Establish and maintain evidence-based clinical protocols and psychiatric standards of

care across the network.

● Serve as the final clinical authority on complex cases, risk management, and patient

safety initiatives.

● Lead Quality Improvement (QI) programs and peer reviews to ensure high-efficacy

treatment outcomes.

● Oversee the expansion of clinical services, such as interventional psychiatry or

● Foster a collaborative and emotionally resilient team culture, focusing on professional

growth and clinical excellence.

● Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new psychiatric providers to ensure

alignment with Nao Medical’s mission.

Strategic Integration & Innovation

● Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer to integrate mental health services into

primary care and other specialty hubs.

● Serve as the clinical lead for the adoption of AI-assisted charting and diagnostic tools to

maximize departmental efficiency.

● Analyze departmental KPIs (patient access, satisfaction, and outcomes) to drive

operational growth and efficiency.

Clinical Duties

● Maintain a reduced clinical panel, conducting comprehensive evaluations and

medication management for high-complexity cases.

● Set the standard for patient-centered care by modeling compassionate, evidence-based

clinical practice.

● Utilize Nao Medical’s digital platforms to deliver both in-person and virtual psychiatric

consultations.

Other Duties

● Represent the psychiatry department in executive leadership meetings and monthly

provider syncs.

● Stay current with industry trends, New York State regulations, and emerging

technologies in psychiatric medicine.

● Demonstrate professional leadership and emotional resilience in high-stress clinical or

administrative situations.

Required Training, Certifications, or Credentials

● 5–7+ years of clinical experience, with at least 3 years in a formal clinical leadership role

(e.g., Director, Dept. Chair, or Lead Physician).

Certificate.

● BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Infection Control Certifications.

● Suboxone Certification (preferred/a plus)

Compensation

● Benefits: Full medical, dental, and vision; 401(k) with match; PTO and paid leave.

● Professional Development: $1,000 CME allowance and internal leadership training.

● Support: AI-powered documentation tools to eliminate administrative burnout.
