Job description

The Cancer Care Executive (CCE) is a senior strategic program leader responsible for shaping, supporting, and scaling comprehensive oncology programs that transform cancer care. This role builds and strengthens long-term partnerships with cancer providers, health systems, and government organizations to enable high-quality, patient-centered care through innovative clinical, operational, financial, and digital programs.
The CCE serves as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders and is accountable for developing holistic cancer care programs tailored to the unique needs, goals, and strategic priorities of each partner.
Location: Flexible within the U.S.; field-based with travel across the Americas.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Customer Engagement
  • Serve as the executive representative to healthcare leaders, government ministries, and key partners.
  • Build high-trust relationships with C-suite stakeholders, positioning the organization as a long-term partner in transforming oncology care.
  • Lead executive-level discussions on care delivery, programmatic design, financing models, workforce optimization, and digital enablement.
  • Ensure alignment of oncology solutions, service offerings, and programmatic initiatives with customer needs and health system priorities.
Programmatic & Partnership Development
  • Design and oversee cancer care programs that may include network development, care-model redesign, access expansion, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal business units to develop solution contracts tailored to customer needs.
  • Negotiate, structure, and support execution of long-term agreements, including performance-based and value-oriented contracts.
  • Drive sustainable revenue growth by advancing the programmatic engagement pipeline and closing strategic deals.
Execution & Impact
  • Support the successful transition of programmatic projects to implementation teams.
  • Work with marketing and communications teams to highlight outcomes such as patient access, quality improvements, operational efficiency, and financial sustainability.
  • Anticipate and help resolve barriers in program management by working cross-functionally across teams.
  • Serve as executive sponsor on key customer engagements, ensuring high satisfaction and delivery of long-term value.

Requirements
Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Advanced degree in Healthcare Administration, Medicine, Business, or related field (MBA, MPH, MD, PhD preferred).
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in oncology, healthcare strategy, consulting, or healthcare delivery.
  • Demonstrated success working with hospital executives, health systems, or government stakeholders on large-scale healthcare initiatives.
  • Experience in oncology program development, clinical operations, or digital health implementation strongly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
  • Deep knowledge of the cancer care continuum and evolving oncology ecosystem.
  • Strong executive presence with exceptional communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to design, structure, and manage complex partnerships, including financial and contractual models.
  • Strategic thinker able to translate vision into executable plans.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration in a matrix environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive within a growth-oriented and evolving business unit.
  • Experience in Theranostics/Radiopharmaceutical Therapy (RPT) and/or Functional Radiation Medicine (FRM) is an asset.
