Executive Assistant

About Commercetools

Real innovation starts with a strong foundation, and at commercetools, that comes from the perfect balance of our product and our people.

Behind every leap forward is a collective of builders, explorers, doers, makers, and problem-solvers. The kind of people who not only created composable commerce but also shaped the culture of experimentation that idea unlocked. Together they are the engine of commerce innovation today.

At commercetools, we power the next era of commerce for our customers. Whether it's AI-driven solutions that help enterprises make smarter business decisions, bridging digital and physical shopping experiences, or enabling entirely new ways for industries to connect with their customers, we help the world's most ambitious companies experiment, scale, and grow without limits.

Here the best idea wins, not the loudest voice. You will have the tools, trust, and space to not only build the future of commerce, but to build your own.

Your Impact

Interested in contributing to a growing global organization? We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Executive Assistant to join our Boston team.

In this role, you will serve as a trusted strategic partner and right hand to our Chief Customer Officer (CCO) and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). We are looking for a C-level EA who understands the flow of the executive suite and thrives on keeping things moving smoothly. You will be the internal champion who helps drive momentum—someone who naturally anticipates needs, connects the dots, and ensures key initiatives stay on track. While your primary focus is keeping our executives aligned and moving forward, you will also help maintain the vibrant heartbeat and culture of our Boston hub.

  • Manage complex, fast-moving calendars with a proactive approach, optimizing the executives' time and ensuring key projects progress smoothly.
  • Maintain open, clear communication loops with the CCO and CMO, keeping leadership effortlessly informed and aligned in real time.
  • Oversee intricate domestic and international travel logistics, ensuring seamless itineraries from start to finish.
  • Join key leadership meetings to capture action items, organize all-hands and onsite events, and help facilitate quarterly business cadences.
  • Engage with relevant Slack channels to help maintain team organization, share reminders, and keep regional teams connected.
  • Partner with our Europe-based Workplace Experience team to keep the Boston office welcoming and functional, while organizing engaging local events that bring our Boston team together.

This role is in-person (Monday - Friday) in our Boston Office to ensure seamless, real-time collaboration.

What Sets You Apart
  • Proven experience supporting C-level executives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You understand how to partner effectively with leadership and navigate executive priorities.
  • You don't wait for a to-do list. You are a self-starter who looks ahead, anticipates potential roadblocks, asks clarifying questions early, and takes pride in driving successful outcomes.
  • You welcome feedback as a tool for continuous improvement (especially regarding complex scheduling and travel logistics) and adapt gracefully to evolving priorities.
  • High cognitive bandwidth with the ability to switch gears smoothly, manage multiple priorities in parallel, and keep projects moving forward.
  • You genuinely care about the craftsmanship of your work, the success of the executives you support, and the overarching mission of the company.
