COMPENSATION RANGE

Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00


JOB SUMMARY

The Customer Service Technician plays a critical role in installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of flooring materials in residential settings.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Assist Field Team


Service

  • Complete assigned service tickets as scheduled 
  • Examine scope of repair and complete an inspection report with details gathered.
  • Complete services and repairs on a variety of floor coverings.
  • Complete production paperwork and write-ups to document the repair provided.
  • Communication on adjustments needed on the jobsite.

Quality

  • Aid in monitoring job quality while completing services.
  • Address quality concerns and report issues to Warranty Management team.    


Job Readiness

  • Ensure materials are available to complete tasks, including but not limited to screws, caulk, stock materiel, saw, drill, batteries, and tools. Transition installations/replacement, minor tile replacement/ installation, grout touchups/ maintenance, caulking, cut/tuck/stretch/seam carpet, patch linoleum, hard surface plank replacement/repair.
  • Tools to be familiar with: wet saw, angle grinder, power stretcher, knee kicker, tape measure, hammer , rubber mallet, chop saw, electric staple gun, straight edge
  • Familiar concepts: thin set/ grout applications, carpet installation, trowels, appropriate glue selections/applications

  • Cultivate and support positive professional relationships with business partners and homeowners.
  • Previous work experience with flooring products and builder superintendents preferred.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of different flooring materiel and installation techniques, carpet, tile, and LVP.
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Stay updated with industry standards and safety regulations
