Overview
The Opportunity
We are seeking a dependable, service-oriented Personal Assistant / Administrative Assistant to provide assistance to an executive in our Detroit office. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in being helpful, attentive, organized, and willing to handle a wide variety of personal-support tasks with professionalism and discretion.
Location and Schedule
  • Part-time position, approximately 20-25 hours per week.
  • Position is based in our Detroit office.
  • In-office presence is required during scheduled working hours.
  • Paid parking is provided in the building.
  • Schedule will be determined based on office needs and executive availability.

Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive, in-person support to an executive.
  • Run local errands as needed, which may include picking up items, delivering materials, or handling personal or office-related tasks.
  • Prepare or pick up coffee, beverages, meals, and other requested items.
  • Warm up lunch, help with basic meal setup, and keep the executive's immediate office area stocked and organized.
  • Assist with office tasks such as filing, scanning, copying, organizing papers, sorting mail, and maintaining supplies.
  • Help coordinate small office needs, including meeting room setup, visitor preparation, refreshments, and light tidying of shared spaces as needed.
  • Communicate professionally with internal team members, vendors, visitors, and building personnel.
  • Assist with other administrative, personal-support, and office-related tasks as requested.

Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a personal assistant, administrative assistant, office assistant, receptionist, or similar support role preferred.
  • Comfortable providing hands-on support and completing a broad range of tasks, both administrative and personal in nature.
  • Professional, polished, dependable, and service-minded.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately.
