Job description

This is a newly elevated Executive Housekeeper role designed for a natural leader—someone who thrives in structure, sets impeccable standards, and leads by example. You will oversee daily housekeeping operations, elevate deep-cleaning standards, manage inventory and administrative systems, and ensure the home is always guest-ready.

This position requires confidence, discretion, adaptability, and the ability to remain calm and effective in a high-expectation environment.


THE HOUSEHOLD
  • Formal private residence | 22,000 sq. ft.
  • Two boys, ages 9 & 12
  • Family in residence approximately 8 weeks per year
  • Established household team in Naples including: Estate Manager, two full-time housekeeper, groundskeeper, personal assistant, and seasonal butler support
  • Strong collaboration with a London-based team

SCHEDULE
While family is in residence:
  • Up to 60–70 hours/week
  • Rotational coverage with one day off per week
While family is out of residence:
  • Monday–Friday
  • Approximately 30–40 hours/week

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee and elevate all housekeeping operations
  • Supervise and support two full-time Housekeepers
  • Establish, maintain, and improve deep-cleaning standards
  • Laundry management from start to finish, including fine garments and linens
  • Care for fine surfaces, artwork, décor, and custom items
  • Inventory management and household ordering
  • Create and maintain housekeeping manuals, checklists, and systems
  • Vendor supervision (including construction-adjacent projects)
  • Guest-ready preparation at all times
  • Travel packing/unpacking when needed
  • Organize closets, pantries, and storage areas (including donation/sales coordination)
  • Outdoor housekeeping support (pool house, towels, umbrellas, etc.)
  • Assist with childcare supervision or driving to/from activities, as needed
  • Assist with service when the family is in residence, as needed
  • Confident use of technology, apps, and communication platforms

IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • 2–5+ years experience as an Executive Housekeeper or senior-level Housekeeper
  • Five-star hotel, luxury estate, or UHNW household experience
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Respects established systems while contributing idea
  • Thinks ahead and anticipates need
  • Creates solutions—not problems
  • Confident leader who can manage personalities and de-escalate when needed
  • Fluent English required; Spanish a strong plus
  • Calm, patient, proactive, and highly detail-oriented
  • Not intimidated by strong personalities or formal environments

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • $100,000+ annually, DOE
  • 2 weeks PTO (not taken while family is in residence)
  • Summer flexibility when family is away
