What You’ll Do

As Executive Housekeeper, you will lead the Housekeeping team and ensure Coast Hotels’ cleanliness and service standards are consistently delivered across all guest rooms and public spaces.

Housekeeping Operations & Standards
  • Lead the overall execution of housekeeping operations, ensuring all guest rooms and public areas meet Coast Hotels’ cleanliness standards
  • Develop and implement departmental plans with clear, measurable objectives
  • Conduct regular inspections and ensure quality standards are consistently maintained
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with teams to maintain adequate supplies
  • Identify and report maintenance concerns to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment
Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and support the Housekeeping team, including supervisors and room attendants
  • Delegate daily workflow, set clear expectations, and monitor team performance
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and accountable work environment
  • Provide recognition, coaching, and ongoing development to team members
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries related to housekeeping operations
Operations Planning & Collaboration
  • Forecast staffing and operational needs based on business levels
  • Collaborate with leaders across departments to support overall hotel operations
  • Identify operational gaps and implement solutions to improve efficiency and service delivery
  • Support budgeting and cost control initiatives within the department
Guest Experience & Service Excellence
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a service-first approach
  • Identify and remove barriers to exceptional guest service
  • Support a culture of accountability and service excellence across the hotel
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day housekeeping operations as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of housekeeping experience, including leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations, standards, and best practices
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Experience with forecasting, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Industry certifications (e.g., emerit Housekeeping Room Attendant or Tourism Supervisor) are an asset
  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
