Hospital Housekeeper - 2nd Shift – Cleveland Westside

Jani-King of Cleveland is looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our dynamic Environmental Services (EVS) team on 2nd Shift.

About the Role:

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for daily housekeeping operations on the 2nd shift. You will ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining a safe and sanitary environment by adhering to all infection control protocols.

  • Cleaning patient rooms, common areas and offices.

  • Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department.

  • Effectively communicating with staff at all levels, including executives, clinical staff, and fellow housekeepers.

  • Upholding the hospital's commitment to excellent customer service.

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a housekeeping role, preferably in a healthcare setting.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • The ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and manage multiple deadlines.

  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality standards.

  • A strong understanding of infection control protocols.
