Job description

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of sales experience in advertising, marketing, consulting, media, business development, or advertising agencies.
  • Experience in advertising, AdTech, or Ad platforms.
  • Experience with technology or ad sales.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.

Preferred qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience working with the Google Marketing Platform and DV360.
  • Experience working with or adjacent to Demand Side Platforms (DV360, The Trade Desk, ADSP, etc.).
  • Experience working in programmatic advertising at an agency or client (advertiser).
  • Experience working and collaborating with programmatic directors and programmatic budget decision makers.
  • Ability to work with a new program in a start-up like environment with.

The GMP GCS Acquisitions team is a sales program that will drive incremental business on Google's tech platform by partnering with customers and agencies. We are sellers who leverage executive collaborating skills to promote Google's enterprise solutions by demonstrating the value of Google Marketing Platform (GMP). In this role, you will empower clients to explore and reach new heights in an AI-driven world, by selling and architecting sustainable GMP solutions that accelerate the next wave of business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Consult with agencies, sales partners (resellers), and advertisers to position GMP and DV360 in market, focusing on mid-market growth prospects.
  • Collaborate internally with LCS and GCS Sales and Agency teams, product facing teams, and Sales Operations, to operate with maximum efficiency while respecting the opportunity for Google and the customer.
  • Manage your team's new business pipeline from pre-sales to onboarding while working closely with the GCS GMP samestore team for long-term support.
  • Work closely with GMP sales partners to ensure agencies and clients are supported during discovery, and contracting with sales partner and with regular check-ins during onboarding, testing, and ramp-up.
  • Build your team's business from the ground up in a true start up environment.
