At Green Ivy Educational Consulting, we help middle school, high school and college students build the skills that change how they think, plan, and show up for themselves: executive functioning skills like organization, prioritization, and adaptable thinking. It's direct, personal work. And it's the kind of job you leave at the end of the day knowing your work made a difference.


We're hiring 1–2 Academic Coaches (part-time or full-time) to join our close-knit team in downtown Los Altos, CA, starting August 4, 2026.


What you'll do

→ Meet one-on-one with students weekly to build executive functioning skills and offer content support

→ Provide subject help and thoughtful writing guidance across grade levels

→ Encourage students with genuine warmth while holding high expectations

→ Collaborate with a small, service-oriented, collegial team


The schedule (school year)

Mon–Wed: 12–9 pm in office | Thu: 11 am–7 pm in office | Fri: remote

Part-time: ~15–20 hrs/week (in office M-Th). Full-time: 35+ hrs/week.


What we're looking for

✓ Experience working with middle or high school students (teaching, tutoring, mentoring, advising, or coaching)

✓ Organized, reliable, and a natural problem-solver

✓ Team player with a sense of humor — seriously


A math or science background is a plus, but not required. We'll train the right person.


Compensation & benefits (full-time)

$75,000–$90,000 FTE, plus healthcare, PTO, 401(k), and profit sharing after an eligibility period.
