About the Role

The Wolters Kluwer Health Revenue Operations team is seeking a Director of Sales Strategy to drive go-to-market execution and accelerate revenue growth through strategic planning, commercial alignment, and operational excellence. Reporting within Revenue Operations, this leader serves as a strategic business partner to Divisional General Managers and Sales Leadership, translating business priorities into commercial strategies that maximize ACV growth and improve sales performance.

The Director leads the governance and execution of key commercial operating rhythms-including quarterly business reviews (QBRs), forecasting, account reviews, and annual planning while influencing cross-functional decisions that strengthen commercial execution and organizational effectiveness. As a trusted advisor to executive leadership, this role provides the strategic insights, governance, and business partnership needed to deliver business growth.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with Divisional General Managers and Sales leadership to develop and execute commercial strategies that accelerate revenue growth and improve go-to-market execution.
  • Lead strategic planning initiatives, including market segmentation, territory strategy, account prioritization, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
  • Drive executive business rhythms by leading QBRs, forecast reviews, account reviews, and strategic planning processes that improve accountability and execution.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations through business analytics, forecasting, pipeline analysis, and market intelligence to support executive decision-making.
  • Influence commercial operating models, organizational design, and go-to-market strategies that improve sales productivity and organizational performance.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations, Finance, and Human Resources to influence sales incentive strategies and planning frameworks that reinforce business priorities and desired commercial outcomes.
  • Champion initiatives that simplify processes, leverage automation and AI, and improve operational efficiency, seller productivity, and customer outcomes.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives across Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Finance, Human Resources, and Revenue Operations to ensure alignment on strategic priorities and execution.
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing Sales Strategy team while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership by identifying growth opportunities, evaluating business performance, and recommending strategies that drive long-term commercial success.

About You

You're a fit for the role if your background resembles:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Sales Strategy, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Business Strategy, or a related commercial function.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with senior Sales leadership to drive commercial strategy, revenue growth, and business transformation.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide strategic initiatives within a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Strong executive presence with exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Expertise in commercial strategy, go-to-market planning, forecasting, territory strategy, business analytics, and sales performance management.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams while driving alignment across multiple business functions.
  • Experience leveraging AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve commercial execution and operational effectiveness is preferred.
  • MBA or other advanced business degree preferred.

Compensation:
