MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Business Development & Capture Executive - MPO Growth to join our Business Development team in Annapolis Junction, MD. This is a hybrid position, with onsite presence required as needed, which may vary from week to week.

This Business Development and Capture Executive will report to and work closely with the VP of Growth for the Intel Sector, focusing on growing strategic business in the MPO market space. You will lead pipeline development and specific capture activities of multiple opportunities drawing on resources from the line organization, sector and corporate business development, and the capability practice areas, leading to awards of new and follow-on contracts. We are looking for a candidate who has won in the past and wants to be a market disruptor. You must be creative, energetic, competitive, and knowledgeable about the market. You will leverage your relationships with clients and industry to engineer wins for MANTECH.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and manage a healthy pipeline while leading opportunity capture strategies in collaboration with proposal operations, solutions architects, business growth teams, and leadership
  • Define opportunity requirements and address capabilities gaps by identifying areas of improvement and applying innovative solutions
  • Initiate and participate in customer discussions including the generation and presentation of White Papers and briefings, and representation at MANTECH at solicitation conferences
  • Identify industry teammates, lead discussions, and negotiate teaming agreements
  • Initiate and support solutioning discussions with internal and external resources including MANTECH Solution Architects
  • Brief MANTECH leadership on the status of opportunities and close open action items
  • Support customer account planning and participate in company branding activities congruent with business opportunities including: White papers, technology demonstrations, RFI responses and participation in industry groups to gain insight to near/far-term customer & mission needs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution, preferably in technology or business, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 12 or more years of experience in the federal market with a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting the MPO in either on-site contract performance, Business Development or Capture Management
  • Technical understanding with ability to demonstrate to customers a strong congruency between MANTECH Core Competencies and how those enhance Mission and Tradecraft
  • Deep knowledge of the MPO Agency mission, including cybersecurity and SIGINT, and existing relationships with its leadership and the industrial base. 

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in stationary position for up to 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to deliver clear and effective communication verbally and via email, phone, and virtual communication platforms to interface with co-workers and customers.
  • Must be able to occasionally move about inside an office environment to access file cabinets, office machinery, and communicate with co-workers. 
  • Must be able to effectively use IT peripherals such as laptop, desktop, printer, etc.

The projected compensation range for this position is $169,100.00-$303,300.00.
