Job description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging - but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
The Data & AI Solution Advisor is a strategic, customer-facing role responsible for guiding enterprises through complex Data & AI transformation initiatives, particularly in post-merger integration (PMI), platform modernization, and technology evolution scenarios. The role combines deep technical and architectural expertise with strong commercial acumen to protect customer value, ensure continuity, and accelerate business outcomes during periods of significant and transformative change.
Acting as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders, you translate complex integration challenges into clear, holistic, and differentiated SAP Data & AI strategies and architectures, reinforcing customer trust and safeguarding long-term investments. The role plays a critical part in shaping account strategy, influencing executive decision-making, and positioning SAP as the partner of choice for data modernization, analytics, and agentic AI innovation, as customers navigate diverse, evolving environments on their journey toward the Autonomous Enterprise.
Additionally, you carry critical accountability for cross-entity enablement, aligning and empowering account teams, solution advisors, delivery organizations, and ecosystem with the guidance, frameworks, and clarity required to execute consistently and confidently in technology integration and acquisition scenarios.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with account teams and partners to understand customer objectives, qualify opportunities and shape account strategy.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader, shaping and guiding customer's lifetime value journey with SAP's data & AI solution portfolio.
  • Evaluate technical and business values in technology expansion, integration and acquisition scenarios, enabling the field with clear insights and recommendations.
  • Lead customer discovery sessions, data maturity assessments, solution workshops, and architecture reviews to identify requirements, pain points and target outcomes.
  • Translate customers into tailored solution recommendations, clearly articulating SAP's data & AI differentiators and best practice architectures.
  • Design end-to-end data modernization architectures spanning data fabric, data warehousing, analytics, enterprise master data management, and agentic AI readiness.
  • Deliver standard and customized demos, tailored proof-of-concepts (POCs), executive briefings, and workshops that demonstrate clear data-to-value outcomes.
  • Support proposal development, business case creation and deal progression, in close collaboration with account teams, peer solution advisors, partners and services.
  • Represent regional, industry and customer-specific business needs, market challenges and requirements through detailed, professional and fact-driven presentations to influence the road map priorities.
  • Stay current on market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to continuously strengthen SAP's solution positioning and differentiation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, AI, Data and Analytics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in pre-sales, consulting, or solution architecture within data, analytics, or AI domains.
  • Hands-on experience in modern enterprise data architectures, spanning master data management, data warehousing/lakehouse, data fabric, analytics, and agentic AI/ML.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in SAP Business Data Cloud services, including SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Mater Data Governance, Joule, SAP Knowledge Graph, SAP Databricks, and SAP application data models.
  • Working knowledge of leading data ecosystems such as Reltio, Databricks, Snowflake, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Palantir, or Informatica.
  • Proven track record of leading customer-facing demos, workshops, POCs, and executive-level engagements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to distill complex or technical concepts into clear, compelling business narratives and visual illustrations.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise buying cycles, complex deal structures, and value-based selling.
  • Polished collaboration and stakeholder management skills, successfully engaging technical, commercial, and partner teams to drive customer-centric outcomes.
  • High learning agility and adaptability in fast-changing business environments.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-pressure, time-critical environments.
  • High energy and passion for customer success supported by a methodical, structured approach to solving problems and delivering value.
