Position SummaryCVS Health is seeking a strategic, data-driven Manager, Business Analysis, Workforce Initiatives, Data & Analytics to lead workforce intelligence and analytics initiatives that support enterprise workforce planning, talent pipeline development, program effectiveness, and business decision making.This role is responsible for transforming Workforce Initiatives data into actionable business intelligence that improves participant outcomes, strengthens talent pipelines, drives operational efficiency, and informs enterprise workforce strategy. Sitting at the intersection of data analytics, business strategy, workforce planning, technology, and operational excellence, the Manager will convert complex data into meaningful insights that influence talent, operational, and organizational outcomes.The successful candidate will serve as the business owner for the Workforce Initiatives data ecosystem, ensuring data quality, governance, reporting consistency, and scalability across key platforms including Workday, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LearningHub, Sophia, and other enterprise technologies.As a strategic partner to Workforce Initiatives leadership, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Operations, Finance, Information Technology, and external stakeholders, this leader will identify trends, uncover opportunities, measure program effectiveness, and provide analytics-driven recommendations that influence business strategy. The role will also drive the responsible adoption of AI-enabled analytics, automation, and reporting solutions that improve decision making, reduce manual effort, and enhance the stakeholder experience.Key Responsibilities & DutiesWorkforce Analytics Strategy & Business Intelligence (25%)
  • Lead the development and execution of workforce analytics and business intelligence strategies that support Workforce Initiatives programs and enterprise business objectives.
  • Translate complex workforce, operational, participant, and stakeholder data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Develop executive dashboards, scorecards, and key performance indicators that measure program success, workforce outcomes, community impact, and operational effectiveness.
  • Provide strategic guidance to leadership through data storytelling, workforce trend analysis, and performance reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve participant outcomes, strengthen talent pipelines, increase hiring conversion rates, and enhance organizational effectiveness through data-driven decision making.
  • Measure and report on Workforce Initiatives outcomes, including participant engagement, hiring conversions, workforce development program effectiveness, talent pipeline performance, apprenticeship outcomes, and community impact metrics.
Enterprise Data Management & System Integration (25%)
  • Serve as the business owner for the Workforce Initiatives data ecosystem and enterprise workforce reporting environment.
  • Lead enterprise data enhancement initiatives across Workday, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LearningHub, Sophia, and related workforce technologies.
  • Establish and maintain data governance standards to ensure consistency, integrity, accuracy, security, and reporting reliability.
  • Partner with Human Resources, Information Technology, Operations, and external vendors to improve integrations and streamline data flows.
  • Develop scalable data architecture solutions that support evolving reporting and analytical needs.

  • Develop and maintain the Workforce Initiatives Data Vault to support longitudinal workforce analysis, trend forecasting, and predictive analytics.
  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques to identify workforce risks, opportunities, and emerging trends.
  • Create models that evaluate workforce development program effectiveness, talent pipeline health, partner performance, hiring conversion rates, retention trends, and overall business impact.
  • Develop forecasting models that support workforce demand planning, participant conversion projections, capacity planning, and program investment decisions.

  • Standardize reporting methodologies and performance measurement frameworks across programs to increase consistency and transparency.
  • Monitor performance indicators and workforce outcomes while providing recommendations for operational improvements and strategic adjustments.
  • Ensure reporting solutions meet business requirements while maintaining scalability, sustainability, and ease of use.
Automation, Process Optimization & Innovation (10%)
  • Lead automation initiatives that reduce manual effort, eliminate redundant processes, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, AI-enabled tools, business intelligence solutions, and workflow automation capabilities.
  • Develop exception reporting and monitoring capabilities that proactively identify data quality concerns and operational risks.

  • Lead cross-functional projects from concept through implementation, ensuring delivery of measurable business value and sustainable outcomes.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Workforce Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Strategy, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise data initiatives, business intelligence projects, and reporting transformation efforts.
  • Advanced experience utilizing Power BI, Tableau, or related visualization and reporting platforms.
  • Strong SQL expertise, including data extraction, transformation, validation, and data management.
  • Experience working with large datasets, data governance frameworks, and data quality programs.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $119,340.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
