Responsibilities:

  • Interact with other department heads in all phases of planning events, etc.
  • Oversee all aspects of Slot Operations.
  • Respond to all requests from Executive management team.
  • Interact with vendors and sales personnel concerning new products, purchases, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Serve as department representative at all official functions and company events including committee and staff meetings.
  • Analyze and make decisions concerning drop/win, percent hold, etc., on all equipment, locations and moves.
  • Respond to guest correspondence, in-house projects, and all departmental dealings with regulatory bodies, including gaming commission, IRS, etc.
  • Oversee all final decisions on hiring, discipline, vacations, terminations, etc., for all slot areas.
  • Control and review the budget for the department.
  • Conduct scheduling and handle conflicts with employees.
  • Set VLT's, continuously review setting.
  • Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve continuously.
  • Superior communication skills.

    • Rhode Island Department of Business Regulations Gaming License

      Working Conditions:

      • Work is performed in a climate-controlled environment.
      • Hazards include cigarette smoke when in casino area
      • Moderate heavy lifting

        Qualifications

        Experience
        Frequently on-call 24 hours for problems, complaints, etc. as they arise. (preferred)
        Constantly sit, stand, and walk. (preferred)
        Rhode Island Department of Business Regulations Gaming License (preferred)
        Ability to clearly speak and write English, bilingual in Spanish would be beneficial. (preferred)
        Understanding and experience with the Wager system, Intelligence system and the William Ryan System as well as all Microsoft. (preferred)
        Ability to organize, delegate, and follow through on any number of different projects. (preferred)
        Ability to communicate easily with all levels of team members and guests. (preferred)
        Extensive background in accounting, administration, marketing, and operations. (preferred)
