Job description

Scope of Work: The Project Executive is a dynamic and innovative construction leader with a strong background in electrical systems. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage large-scale construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires exceptional leadership, project management, and technical expertise in construction management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and manage all phases of construction projects from inception to completion, including planning, design, execution, monitoring, and closing.
  • Electrical Systems Oversight: Ensure the integration and implementation of electrical systems meet project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Budget and Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the efforts of project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
  • Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on electrical systems, data center, or mission critical work. Managing jobs greater than $50 million.
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), AutoCAD, and electrical design tools.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of successfully leading large-scale construction projects.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
