Position Type: Adjunct instructor
Purpose/Summary
The applicant should be qualified to teach one or more of the following courses:
General Physics I (algebra based) - one semester with lab
General Physics II (algebra based) - one semester with lab
College Physics I (Calculus based) - one semester with lab
College Physics II (Calculus based) - one semester with lab
Qualifications
Teaching assignments with some lab coordination may be required. The applicant should have a Master's Degree in Physics or at least 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline to be taught. Preference will be given to those applicants willing to teach evening and weekend courses. All CCD classroom instruction is supported by Desire2Learn online learning system. It is preferred that the applicant have some familiarity and /or experience with Desire2Learn and/or Blackboard learning systems.
