Cardiac Electrophysiology Opportunity in Richmond, IN

You'll step into a high-demand Cardiac Electrophysiology role with immediate volume and a built-in referral base. This is a chance to help expand an established cardiovascular service line while keeping call truly manageable. If you want strong procedural variety, excellent support, and room to introduce new EP technology, this position is worth a closer look.

Practice Overview


  • You'll join an employed cardiology group with dedicated EP coverage and strong internal referrals across multiple regional clinics
  • Team support includes general and interventional cardiologists, EP-focused APP support, and an inpatient cardiologist who triages admissions
  • Procedures include advanced ablations, device implants (PPM/ICD/CRT/Sub-Q/leadless), LAAO collaboration, and complex lead extraction support with CT surgery and hybrid OR access
  • Tools/resources include Carto mapping, dedicated anesthesia block time, nurse-led conscious sedation, EPIC/Cupid, and rhythm techs for in-person/remote device monitoring

Schedule


  • Alternating weekly rotation: 1 week hospital-based procedures (planned cases + inpatient add-ons) followed by 1 week full-time clinic
  • Phone-heavy call with post-call relief built in after any night/weekend coverage
  • Weeknight general call: ~20-21 nights/year; Friday night call: ~4-5 nights/year (phone only)
  • Weekend rounding/call: ~3-4 weekends/year (Saturday & Sunday)

Compensation & Benefits


  • Base salary guarantee: 800,000 floor, plus 65 per wRVU (threshold applies)
  • 30,000 sign-on bonus (also used to cover relocation; split payout tied to signing and start)
  • Malpractice coverage provided, plus health/dental/vision/life insurance and retirement plans
  • 5,000 CME allowance + 5 CME days/year, PTO under standard employed physician benefits, and PSLF eligibility

  • MD/DO; Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiac Electrophysiology
  • Open to new grads and experienced EP physicians
  • Comfort with a mix of ablations, device implants, and consultative EP is ideal
  • Visa sponsorship available, including Conrad 30 waiver support
