  • Analyze complex datasets from enterprise systems, including SAP, POS, and Manhattan WMS, to identify anomalies, trends, control weaknesses, emerging risks, and opportunities for enhanced audit insight.
  • Support audit planning and execution by identifying opportunities for continuous auditing or enhanced monitoring.

Strategic and Complex Audits

  • Lead, co-lead, or support complex, high-risk, or ambiguous audits and investigations requiring advanced judgment and analytical depth.
  • Assess analytics approaches for completeness, accuracy, and relevance, and communicate assumptions, limitations, and risks clearly to audit teams and leadership.
  • Identify and deliver digital solutions that address key business challenges and provide meaningful insights to support risk assessment, audit execution, and decision-making.

Solution Development and Automation

  • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance analytic and automation solutions using tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, SQL, Python, or similar technologies to query, mine, and analyze large, complex datasets.
  • Contribute to the department's analytics and automation roadmap by identifying high-impact opportunities, supporting prioritization efforts, and helping develop scalable tools, templates, and methodologies across the audit lifecycle.
  • Support the implementation and governance of AI-enabled tools within Internal Audit by helping define practical use cases, usage standards, and controls that promote responsible, effective, and sustainable adoption.

Partnership and Technology Enablement

  • Partner with Internal Audit, management, and cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate data sources, reporting capabilities, business processes, and risk exposures, and translate them into actionable analytics and technology solutions.
  • Communicate progress, analytical results, and technical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
  • Drive cross-departmental engagement to help teams assess opportunities, build technology capabilities, and implement scalable solutions that strengthen reporting, controls, and business processes.

Capability Support and Knowledge Sharing

  • Support the continued advancement of analytics, automation, and AI capabilities within Internal Audit through tool development, documentation, knowledge sharing, and informal coaching.
  • Support consistency in analytics delivery by helping maintain reusable tools, templates, and repeatable methods.
