Job Title: Executive Assistant

Shriners Spokane is looking for a full-time Executive Assistant to join the team!

The Executive Assistant provides administrative support to the Chief and Medical Staff. Maintains calendars, makes travel arrangements, coordinates schedules, attends meetings and composes minutes and other correspondence as directed. Assists with special projects, answers questions, directs employees, visitors and patient families and other constituents to appropriate resources. Maintains confidentiality with sensitive business communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answers incoming phone call courteously, dispatching calls as appropriate & taking accurate message information. Initiates & maintains filing systems allowing for easy document retrieval.
  • Makes airline, hotel & rental care arrangements for the Chief & Medical Staff office as needed.
  • Coordinates in-house meetings as requested. Maintains a calendar of available meeting space and answers requests for use of such, in-house and out of house. Facilitates meeting set-up and catering as necessary.
  • Assists with special events as directed, coordinates group visits & conducts tours upon request.
  • Prepares correspondence for Chief & Medical Staff office in an accurate & timely manner. Meeting minutes are accurately transcribed & distributed within ten working days of each meeting.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7 years Executive Assistant/Clerical, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Strong computer skills and database applications (MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelors in related field
  • Medical Terminology helpful

The pay range for this position is $29.23 - $43.85. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
