PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $106,600.00-$130,100.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $82,900.00 - $154,000.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

As the Senior Quality & Administration Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in strengthening quality assurance, compliance, and operational excellence across the enterprise. You'll partner with leaders across multiple business units to identify risk, elevate performance standards, and drive meaningful improvements that enhance both member experience and business outcomes. Your expertise in quality reviews, governance, compliance, and process optimization will help ensure operational integrity while supporting strategic organizational goals. Through executive-level reporting and enterprise-wide influence, you'll help shape the future of quality and risk management at BECU. This is an opportunity to make a visible impact across the organization while leading initiatives that improve efficiency, consistency, and compliance.

To join our dynamic team, we require candidates to be residents of WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, SC, NC, CA or VA. If you're located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we are requesting that you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be remote. Remote or onsite, we are committed to ensuring you are fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Develop Enterprise Strategies: Lead and execute quality assurance, compliance, and operational excellence strategies that support organizational priorities and drive consistent results across multiple business units.
  • Ensure Regulatory Alignment: Monitor enterprise adherence to operational standards, regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry expectations to help mitigate risk and support sound governance practices.
  • Lead Second Line Quality Assurance Reviews: Organize, coordinate, and oversee risk-based QA reviews and audit activities, ensuring quality standards are met and findings are addressed effectively.
  • Manage Risk & Remediation: Identify operational, compliance, and process-related risks; partner with stakeholders to develop corrective action plans and ensure timely resolution of findings.
  • Optimize Business Processes: Drive continuous improvement initiatives that streamline workflows, improve efficiency, reduce risk, and strengthen overall business performance.
  • Establish Best Practices: Develop and implement standardized quality frameworks, governance processes, and operational best practices that support consistency and enterprise-wide excellence.
  • Support Change & Transformation: Influence cross-functional teams through process enhancements and organizational change initiatives designed to improve quality outcomes.
  • Analyze Performance Data: Gather, evaluate, and interpret quality, compliance, and operational performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Deliver Executive Insights: Create and present meaningful reports, dashboards, and executive summaries that provide leadership with actionable recommendations and performance visibility.
  • Leverage Technology & Analytics: Utilize reporting tools, data analysis capabilities, and emerging technologies, including AI solutions, to improve decision-making and quality outcomes.
  • Partner Across the Enterprise: Collaborate with leaders across operations, compliance, credit risk, fraud risk, and other business areas to align quality objectives and achieve organizational goals.
  • Influence Without Direct Authority: Build strong relationships, drive accountability, and foster collaboration to achieve successful outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Provide Leadership & Program Oversight: Manage key programs and initiatives while promoting a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, or equivalent work or educational experience.
  • 5 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, or process improvement roles.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
  • Advanced knowledge of regulatory compliance standards and quality management systems.
  • Professional designation in relevant field preferred.
  • Extensive experience in quality and control design methodology, compliance management, and process improvement (5+ years).
  • Expertise in data analysis, reporting, and project management tools.
  • Strong data gathering, coding, and Excel skills.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Copilot applications.
  • Experience leading quality assurance reviews, second line defense programs, and risk management initiatives.
  • Ability to influence and build partnerships across multiple business units and stakeholder groups.
  • Executive-level communication, presentation, and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement certification preferred.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools, data mining, and advanced analytics to drive business insights.
  • Change management experience within complex or highly regulated environments.
