About the role:

As a Lead Fabrication Execution Engineer - Auxiliary Equipment and Valves you will serve as the primary interface between New Plants Supply Chain and Engineering while providing technical guidance and resolving issues to keep manufacturing on schedule. You will lead the engineering teams in their reviews and route WPRO documentation, ensuring accurate workflow actions, and collaborate closely with Commercial and Delivery Stream Engineers to maintain technical compliance and document control throughout the PO lifecycle. Your role will ensure seamless coordination across teams to support compliant delivery of critical components

You will report to the Auxiliary Equipment & Valves Engineering Manager and matrix report to the New Plants Supply Chain Director. You will be located at Global Headquarters in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, blending remote flexibility with regular on-site collaboration at our office

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the review and approval of engineering documents/drawings through Engineering.
  • Be the primary interface across internal engineers at all levels, supply chain, and management
  • Field high‑level technical questions on design and fabrication topics, providing, accurate guidance.
  • Lead and coordinate cross‑functional workstreams, adjusting priorities to maintain progress against shifting program objectives.
  • Mentor, train, and develop new and growing team members to elevate overall team capability and technical proficiency.
  • Provide escalation support to APX engineering and leadership, ensuring resolution of technical issues impacting FFE activities.
  • Review supplier's technical proposals against project requirements.
  • Lead supplier deviations and specification exceptions to resolution.
  • Manage WPRO document workflows—executing Forward, Bypass, or Transfer actions—while promoting document control discipline.
  • Partner with Commercial and Delivery Stream Engineers to ensure technical compliance, document traceability, and seamless execution throughout the PO and manufacturing lifecycle.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical production and manufacturing discipline
  • Minimum 8+ years of applicable experience
  • Communicate with people in a multicultural environment with time zone differences.
  • Gather and analyze input, evaluate alternatives, and make decisions.
  • Leadership competency and existing experience
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and practices

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $116,800 to $146,000 per year.
