Job description

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in a skilled nursing facility in Mount Vernon, IL.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Experience with ADL retraining, adaptive equipment recommendations, and documentation in electronic medical records preferred.
  • Ability to manage caseloads and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Shift: Days.
  • Shift Hours: 08:30โ€“16:30.
  • Shift Pattern: 5x8.
  • Floating: Split assignment across facilities within the local region (candidate must be willing to travel between sites).
  • Assignment Length: 12 weeks.
