What is exceptional medical transportation?

Exceptional medical transportation refers to specialized transport services designed for patients who need medical assistance during transit. These services are often used for individuals with mobility challenges, chronic illnesses, or those who require monitoring and care en route to medical appointments, hospitals, or care facilities. This type of transportation helps bridge the gap for people who cannot use standard ambulances or public transportation due to their health needs.

Medical transportation professionals, including drivers and coordinators, can earn a moderate income that varies by location, experience, and employer. Many roles offer hourly wages or per-ride payments, with opportunities for overtime and tips, especially in non-emergency transport services. Certification and good customer service skills can enhance earning potential.
